2016 The year Maybelline New York Germany decided to replace their longterm German claim „Ich fühl mich schön mit Maybelline New York“ with the claim „Make it happen.“ To make it a big announcement Maybelline New York - who was already a longterm partner of Berlin Fashion Week and therefore responsible for every make-up looks of every designer who had a fashion show on the runway - came up with the idea to put Make-up in the center to attention and created an own make-up runway. Showing 12 „IT-Looks“ each focusing on one make-up trend. As usual in haute couture fashion shows, these looks were also exaggerated to make a statement and highlight the trend.
